Saishuai Dai is the Marine Robotics Society's academic mentor. He holds BEng, MSc and PhD in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, University of Strathclyde. Saishuai's mission is to provide general and hydrodynamics testing advice and support the society.

Marvin Wright is the founder and president of the Marine Robotics Society. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Paderborn, Germany, and an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Power systems from Strathclyde University. Marvin is currently writing up his PhD on the topic of bio-inspired underwater robotic propulsion, with a focus on CFD modelling, prototype design and hydrodynamic lab testing. As the president of the Marine Robotics Society, Marvin is involved in all areas of the organization with the general aim to support student members, enhance student experience and create opportunities for the society.

Panagiotis is leading the electrical team in the development of the Strath Voyager and coordinated the technical development of the ASV. He is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the University of Strathclyde's Maritime Safety Research Centre, focusing on damage stability, design, and optimization. He has contributed significantly to research projects like SEAMAN and SafePASS, focusing on machine learning for predicting flooding incident outcomes and developing real-time crew response tools. Panagiotis is an active member of the Strathclyde NAOME community, providing tutoring in design software, supporting the Marine Design class, and serving as a postgraduate research student representative.

Kaja is a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering student and an amateur sailor. Her team focuses on the sensors' integration within the systems of Strath Voyager and data fusion techniques. Kaja ensures smooth communication with the software team, as their work is closely related. She believes a good atmosphere in society is crucial and is committed to helping create it.

Mauro Francisco Arcidiacono has a degree in materials engineering from the National University of Mar del Plata. He is now a PhD student in Computational Sciences and Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in the Advanced Forming Research Centre. His work combines applied mathematics, computer science and material science to develop digital twins to predict the correlation between manufacturing process parameters and mechanical performance. Mauro enjoys building software projects and currently occupies the head of software position in the Society. Nowadays, he supports the Society by leading software initiatives and by developing the software architecture of the robot.

Isah Jimoh received the BEng. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Benin (Nigeria), in 2016, and, as a Commonwealth Scholar, the MSc. degree in Applied Instrumentation and Control from Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), in 2018. Since 2022, he has been with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde (UK) pursuing a PhD. degree in Automatic Control Theory and Applications to Marine Robots.

He is currently the leader of the Autonomous Control Team of the University of Strathclyde Marine Robotic Society (MRS). His research interests include optimal control, marine control systems, dynamic optimization for various applications in power systems, and wind turbines.

Alex Dixon is the Marine Robotics Society's Mechanical team leader and Treasurer. He holds a HNC Manufacturing Engineering and is now pursuing a BSc in Product Design and Innovation. Alexs' mission is to develop and manufacture solutions to the problems faced by MRS, utilizing novel technologies and manufacturing methods. As treasurer he is responsible for allocation and management of team funds, while working closely with the rest of the core engineering group to achieve this goal.

Radu is the Safety Officer of the Marine Robotics Society and is working towards a BEng in Naval Architecture with High Performance Marine Vehicles. Having been trained previously as a Junior First Responder and as a Fire Warden, he is excited to bring his expertise to society and make sure that all its activities proceed smoothly and without incident.

Magnus is studying for a MEng degree in Naval Architecture with High Performance Marine Vehicles. He has practical experience in designing and constructing various remotely operated aircraft, hovercraft, ships, and WIG vehicles. In his role as MRS workshop coordinator, Magnus' mission is to work closely with teams to provide a proactive, safe, and efficient workspace and parts inventory.

Rhea Pinto is the team leader of Social Events and social media. She is on her 4th year of B.Eng Naval Architecture with High-Performance Marine Vehicles. She generally loves anything that allows her to use her creativity, especially if it involves design. She hopes to expand the society's popularity - within the university and outside, and ensure that each member enjoys being a part of MRS.

Ioannis Stamatiou is the Marine Robotics Society's and Strath Voyager's business development team leader. He holds a BEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and is now pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Engineering: Offshore Renewable Energy. Ioannis' mission, in collaboration with the business development team, is to build a viable business strategy that will benefit the team financially. His primary responsibilities include reaching out to sponsors, ensuring that the team's actions follow the agreed-upon financial plan, and collaborating with the marketing team for efficient promotion.

Wang Zhao holds degrees in mechanical engineering, law, system modelling and simulation, and business administration. He is now working towards a PhD in management science at the University of Strathclyde, with a focus on Bayesian statistics. He led the development of the software framework for MRS' first autonomous boat StrathVoyager in the summer of 2023. Since the academic year 2023/24, he has been a member of the society's “council of ancients” while developing the new autonomous system based on ROS2.

After completing MSc in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Nilesh Ohol became an Associate Member of the Society. He has made contributions in the Machine Vision and Path Planning. This spectrum of professionals spans from esteemed CTOs to accomplished Senior Engineers and up-and-coming Graduates. It leverages more than 2 years of experience in training and coaching, enabling him to nurture and develop the talents of the next generation of tech enthusiasts.

He has deep passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, consistently staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the industry.
